I remember hearing it when i was a child in church, but i do not recall what bible verse it’s under. Goes something like “man seeketh woman, woman should not seek man for marriage”.. i dont know exactly what it says, but something along those lines. I tried searching “bible verse man woman”, but all i get is the gay marriage results.. can someone help? trying to get it to reference to a desperate friend. Thanks if anyone can help!!!

Deut. 22:13: “”If any man takes a wife and goes in to her and then turns against her,” (NASB) In this verse, the man is described as the active partner.
Genesis 2:24: “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” (KJV)
Ephesians 5:31: “For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.” (KJV)
